I live in the "Stoney Creek" area, near Elizabethton, TN. I am high up on a hilltop near the fire tower in the Cherokee National Forest. A very peaceful place.

I graduated from Willoughby Technical, electronics program in 1978. I have worked in electronics since. As I write this, I have more than 40 years of experience in electronics.

I came to eastern TN 18 years ago from places like Nashville, and Denver,Colorado.

In 2011 I formed Protexus Inc.

Protexus is a supplier of alarm equipment, life safety equipment and surveillance devices to the alarm industry.

I am a registered employee of Continental Alarm Systems Inc., and they use Protexus as their supplier of surveillance equipment.

Together we provide individuals, families, and business with the safety and peace of mind that they deserve.

Our way of doing business:

We will not "trick" you into a lengthy contract. You own the equipment and our monitoring fees are very reasonable.

Other companies make you sign a minimum 3 year contract, the down payment is low, but it adds up over the length of the contract.

We use "top notch" DSC alarm equipment (Johnson Controls), the same equipment you'll see in large industries, banks, pharmacies etc.

We've been around for over 20 years, ask your local business or a neighbor, they might be a customer. The majority of our business comes from referrals or "word of mouth".
